Kawayan, Biliran (BiliranDEO) – The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH)-Biliran District Engineering Office (DEO) is undertaking the rehabilitation of a damaged section of the BiliranCircumferential Road (BCR) in Barangay Bulalacao, Kawayan, Biliran.
The project involves the concreting of 0.106 lane kilometer of road, including drainage and slope protection works.
“This project will restore the damaged road section and improve the safety and reliability of travel for motorists and the public. We are committed to ensuring that our road infrastructure remains safe, durable, and accessible to all road users,” District Engineer Irwin L. Antonio said.
Funded under the CY 2026 General Appropriations Act (GAA) Asset Preservation Program, the project has an allocation of P4.8 million.
The completion of the project will provide safer and more reliable passage along this section of the Biliran Circumferential Road.
