NAVAL, Biliran (BiliranDEO) – The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) – Biliran District Engineering Office is implementing the construction of a P24.47-million Multi-Purpose Building (Food Processing Facility) in Barangay Larrazabal, Naval, Biliran, aimed at providing a dedicated space for the processing and preservation of local agricultural products.
As of August 31, 2026, the project has reached 7.30% physical accomplishment, with construction activities underway.
Once completed, the facility is expected to provide a safe and suitable environment for food processing, helping improve the quality and preservation of locally produced agricultural products.
Beyond providing the needed infrastructure, the project is also seen to support livelihood opportunities in the community by creating a facility where local agricultural products can be processed and given added value.
The DPWH-Biliran DEO continues to implement infrastructure projects that respond not only to physical development needs but also contribute to the economic and livelihood potential of local communities in Biliran Province.
