Biliran, Biliran – A farmer in Biliran town was seriously injured Sunday night after being shot at the back of his neck by an unknown assailant who remains at large.
According to the police report , 34 year-old Felicito Corpin Yankee Canoy, married, residing at Brgy. Hugpa, Biliran was having a drinking spree with hisailant who remains at large.
His neighbors immediately brought the victim to Biliran Provincial Hospital, but he was eventually transferred to Ormoc Hospital for further medical treatment.
Biliran task force is still trying to establish a motive for the attack and is trying to identify the culprit. – BiliranIsland.com
