NAVAL, Biliran – After a power outage due to the 6.5 earthquake in Leyte, electricity was restored in several parts of Biliran at 5:50 pm of July 14.

According to BILECO General Manager Gerardo N. Oledan, electric power is now restored in Naval and Biliran towns past 5pm. He added electricity is available the whole night if there will be no problem encountered.

He also advised consumers to refrain from using appliances that consume big like aircon, electric iron, refrigerator, and other big electricity consuming appliances to avoid power fluctuation.

BILECO cannot provide electric power to other areas in Biliran Province as they are still assessing the load of Naval and Biliran towns. – BiliranIsland.com
