Update: I’m glad to inform everyone that as of today we have no municipal employees and elected officials who were tested positive with illegal drugs during our surprise drug test. NAVAL, Biliran – A surprise drug test has been conducted right after the flag ceremony in the Municipal Office of Naval, Biliran this morning of September 5, 2016.
The surprise drug test is spearheaded by our Naval Mayor, Hon. Gerard Roger Espina and facilitated by Biolab, a DOH Accredited Agency.
The drug test is mandatory for elected Officials in Naval and all department heads.
A random drug test will be conducted in some employees. If found positive in drug test result the person in question will be facing disciplinary measures.
All the elected officials are present except for the ABC President. -BiliranIsland.com
